Wild Life Refuge in Oklahoma. There wasnt much to do in Oklahoma outdoor wise because it was so flat and dry but we did find some excitment at the wild life refuge. There was buffalo everywere and other animals to look at. We found a mini dam we messed around at but watch out you might step on a cactus.
Part of chads training to be a Air Craft Loadmaster was in Altus, Oklahoma. The fist week we were there the airforce paid for us to go on a couples retreat at a resort at quarts mountain. The retreat helped us get prepared for deployment and how to make are marriage better. While we were there they had horse back ridding, canoing, golfing, etc. There was also a really pretty lake by us but because of the lack of water this summer in Oklahoma there really wasnt really anything there. There was some wild life baby deer just walked around us and didnt mind we were there. We roasted marshmallows inside due to the dryness outside we had to do it inside haha
Basic training for the U.S. Air force chad attended basic training March 15th 2011 it was 8 week program. The training took place at lackland AFB in San Antonio TX. It was a tough program to get through physically and mentally but he did it and we were so proud of him. His parents, my mom, and I all attended his graduation it was really cool to see how they do everything and how neat and perfect they all were. It was a fun memory and felt so good to see him after two months.
